Artist's inscription:
In the central chamber where the spirit resides, I clear my mind, stand alone, and avoid the corruption of the world, I experience my vision from the perspective of the five zang organs, the six fu organs adorn my control, purifying it like jade. Tanxi has inscribed the 'Crane [Burial] Engraving': Having once seen a fat tracing copy of the Yellow Chamber Classic, I am aware that larger characters choke the flow of this poem.
