Catalogue Note
Artist's inscription:
At Nun Su's Terrace the autumn colors are rare along the level rivers, wood and leaves follow the ambling flow. Great floods empty into three thousand gui of land, gathering the waning posterity of several thousand years. Wind and rain like hateful men looking for trouble, misty waters making it hard to call out to Fan Li's boat. Some perched bird sings a song from old, as the new moon sinks gracefully into the river. .
