Condition

-Overall in good condition except that some horizontal cracks can be found, especially in the lower bottom section, which has been restored properly, making the condition of the scroll stable -The illustrated colors appear to be more intense than those of the actual piece, whereas the coloration and brushwork are more subtle and vivid

At the ferry crossing station the sand is soft, and it sinks, leaving marks of the Xiang [River], beyond the forest, the homes of people can be partially seen in the fading glow of sunset.  Cares for fame and fortune stretch out on the old distant road, the ferryman works his oar, dispersing the flock. In autumn of the jiachen year of the Yongzheng reign (1724), Zhuli Wang Yun.
