the rectangular plaque enamelled with a mountainous landscape by the river with distant figures crossing the bridge and resting amongst cottages, all below an inscription reading Zhuguan shusheng. Dinghai nian lidong ri. Wang Shaoping zuoyu Zhushan (Reading in the bamboo grove. Painted at beginning of winter in the dinghai year by Wang Shaoping in Zhushan, corresponding to 1947), followed by a pingshan seal

Condition

This plaque is in good condition, but does have a small shallow chip to the lower edge to the right corner (2mm by 2mm) and three smaller ones to the lower centre edge.
