the tapering ovoid body rising to a rounded shoulder set with a short straight neck, decorated in green enamel with a pair of ferocious dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls amongst scrolling clouds, all beneath a frieze of beribboned bajixiang and above a lappet band, the cover similarly decorated with a coiled dragon chasing a flaming pearl, the recessed base inscribed with a six-character Qianlong seal mark

Condition
The neck has been cut and restuck, the seam is detectable just below the srcoll band at the shoulder. There is a 4.5cm crack to the cover and numerous scratches to its upper surface. There are also some scratches to the sides of the vase.
