the exterior with four gilt-edged medallions brightly enamelled with flowering branches, divided by stylised lotus and lingzhi sprays, all reserved on a bright lemon-yellow ground heightened with iron-red feathery scrollwork, the interior painted in underglaze-blue with a central floral medallion surrounded by four detached beribboned floral sprays, the base inscribed with a six-character Daoguang seal mark

Condition

The bowl is generally in good condition, but there is a very small 3mm by 1mm shallow chip to the rim and there are three minor iron spots to the rim.
