of rectangular section with canted corners, set on each side with a tinted glass panel, the borders brightly enamelled against a blue ground with beribboned bajixiang and detached floral sprays, the domed top similarly decorated against a blue ground with precious objects and the sanduo amongst foliate scrolls, all framed by floral bands and surmounted by a lotus knop with a metal hook, with stand

Condition

There is restoration to the finial where it meets the top of the lantern. There is a 3cm by 3cm area of restoration to the slanting top, and another 2.3cm area below this. Thre are a number of restored areas to the enamel to the upright sides and to one horrizontal support.
