Catalogue Note

Yongzheng mark and period meiping of this unusual short and broad form are extremely rare although a closely related pair, similarly covered in an even glaze of celadon green, are illustrated in Regina Krahl, Chinese Ceramcis from the Meiyintang Collection, Vol. 2, London, 1994, pl. 858.
