Description

  • jade
  • 15.5cm.,
standing in loose robes falling into voluminous folds, his arms raised carrying a bunch of blossoming and leafy lotus on his shoulders, the benevolent face turned slightly to his left, the stone of a pale celadon tone

Condition

The carving is in very good condition with the exception of some tiny nicks and a tiny bruise to the edges of the lotus flowers and petals and to the rear of his long robe at the base. It should be noted that the stone is of a more celadon tone than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
