the gently rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to a slightly incurved rim, covered overall in a soft pale-blue glaze thinning to a buff tone at the rim and with an irregular purple splash to the interior, the glaze falling short of the foot to reveal the purplish-brown body

Condition

The bowl has a shallow band of restoration to a circa 6cm., wide area of the rim on the interior and exterior and minor glaze firing imperfections including glaze pulls, glaze bubbles and iron-spot impurities.
