Description
- stoneware
modelled as a crouching lion supporting the lobed lotus platform atop incised with a flower, the ferocious beast seizing a prey between its paws with menacing fangs, detailed with a stylised curly mane and incised fur, covered overall in a mottled and streaked amber, green and cream glaze

Condition
This rare pillow is in very good condition with the exception of a 10 x 4mm., shallow flake to the rear of the base, minor nibbles to the edge of the base, three tiny glaze flakes to the outer edge of the top, two tiny glaze flakes to the flaming haunches at the left side and very minor rubbing to the glaze on extremities.
