  • stoneware
the well-potted baluster body rising from a short spreading flat foot to a short trumpet neck with everted rim, set to one side with a strap handle joining the shoulder and rim and to the other with a short conical spout, covered overall with a white glaze, the base unglazed showing the pale pinkish-buff body

Condition

The ewer is in good condition with the exception of some minor glaze flaking around the edge of the spout and edge of the rim (8 x 3 and 15 x 3mm.).
