modelled in the form of a Persian leather water bottle, the flat-backed globular body with flaring spout and high arched handle, the front face with an intaglio ochre and cream-splashed shield-shaped panel, all reserved on a green-glazed ground

Condition
The ewer is in very good condition with the exception of minor glaze flakes and nibbles around the rim.
