carved as a melon, the russet skin used to highlight the leaves, tendrils and butterfly on one side, the yellow-green stone with reddish brown and calcified-white inclusions; together with a glass snuff bottle simulating white jade with lion-mask mock-ring handles (2)
Condition
The melon-form snuff bottle has minor chips to the decoration likely done during manufacture. The white jade snuff bottle has nicks to the rim edge and neck as well as light scratches overall.
