the body of compressed pear form rising to a flared rim, applied with a sinuous chilong coiled around the sloping shoulder, the lustrous pale blue-green glaze with splashes of russet-brown and blue-black, the unglazed foot stained brown, seal mark in underglaze blue

Condition

There is an approximately 1 in. (2.5 cm) tear in the body with a resultant glaze gap and a glazed over firing fault on the mouth rim approximately 1/4 in. (1.2 cm.) wide. There are minor chips to both elbows of the chilong as well as the nose, and a burst bubble on the body. There are some small bruises to the glaze and a minor glaze gap on the base.
