each globular body rising to a trumpet neck and everted rim, with iron-red and famille-rose enamels painted with numerous butterflies in flight divided by detached stylized lotus scrolls and shou characters around the sloping shoulders above a raised gilt band, all beneath a ruyi band below the rim and upright lappets above the foot, six-character mark in iron-red (2)

The vases are in good condition with only slight wear to the gilding.
