Condition
Original canvas. Ultra-violet light reveals some retouching, notably to a circa 2 by 4cm area in the cloud in the lower right of the sky, and thin lines along craquelure in the sky and trees. There is hairline craquelure overall, which is only just visible in the catalogue illustration.
Held in a simple gold and white painted wood and plaster frame.
