Provenance

The estate of Ralph Berkowitz, Albuquerque, New Mexico (1910-2011; American composer, classical musician, and painter. In 1961 Berkowitz moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he performed in the annual June Music Festival and became manager of the Albuquerque Civic Orchestra)

Condition

Original canvas. UV light reveals just a few scattered minor spots of retouching, notably 3 in the upper arch and a small stroke in the lower right quadrant, near the right edge. Overall this work is in good condition and is ready to hang. Held in a black-painted wood and plaster frame.
