Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down and attached at the four corners on the reverse to a backing board. There are some small tears to the edges of the sheet, not visible when framed, notably a 4cm tear and a 2cm repaired loss at the lower left corner, some minor repairs to the upper edge, and a repaired tear in the upper right corner. Overall the sheet is discoloured and there are scattered spots of foxing. The sheet would benefit from conservation. Held in a decorative gold-painted frame with a green mount. The sheet is more yellow than it appears in the catalogue illustration.
