Inaugural Packet, including 3 engraved invitations to the inauguration, broadside with Inaugural Calendar, invitation for the Distinguished Ladies attending the Inauguration for a reception at the National Gallery of Art 18 January 1961, engraved invitation to a reception 19 January 1961 in honor of the Governors of the States and Special Distinguished Guests, engraved invitation to the Inaugural Concert 19 January 1961, program for the concert, 3 admission tickets to the Inauguration, seating diagram on the President’s Platform, Inauguration Ceremonies Program, engraved invitation to the Inaugural Ball 20 January 1961, all housed in the original envelope; envelope torn along right margin and repaired with tape. Together with: a booklet containing “Dedication” and “The Gift Outright” by Robert Frost and the the Inaugural Address. New York: Printed for the Friends of Holt, Rinehart and Winston, 1961. One of 800 copies. Housed in its original envelope; marginal browning to envelope. And with: Invitations and admission tickets to 2 White House receptions (one in an envelope) and 2 dinners dated 8 February 1961, 6 September 1963, 20 October 1963, and 25 November 1963, total of 8 items. And with: Engraved card “White Tie,” an engraved place card for the President and Mrs. Kennedy, and one envelope addressed in a calligraphic hand to Robert McNamara. And with: Engraved thank you note on mourning stationery with original envelope bearing Mrs. Kennedy's franking stamp, postmarked 17 December 1963.
