Condition

Overall fair condition; nice color to the well-figured mahogany and with a good surface; nicely carved and sturdy; the first with two old repaired breaks to the tops of the backs of the legs each with plugs; the same chair with two replaced pieces to the back corners of the seat and one replaced corner to the front right corner of seat; the other with two old repaired breaks to tops of back legs, one of which now with a later piece of wood at top to stabilize; both legs with plugs; both chairs with a slightly glossy surface and with perishing to finish in places mainly to legs; overall with some nicks, wear and scratches consistent with age and use.
