the underside of two brackets with painted number 1207, rails to each chair penciled number 14103 and 1410. Restorations, contemporary needlework associated.

Condition
Overall good restored condition; the associated contemporary needlework in very good condition with vibrant colors and with minor patches and losses in places mainly to the seat of one chair; the mahogany later polished; the first chair with a restoration to front left foot; both chairs with the underside of feet originally with casters and now filled in with wood blocks; the rails with extensive old worm damage now filled; small chips to the corners of the base of the downswept armrest supports and with some inpainted old tack holes where previous upholstery was fixed; overall with some slight separation at joins over line of construction and with some scuffs, scratches and bruises to feet.
