Condition
This work is in good condition overall. The work is made of two joined canvases. The canvases are unlined. The surface of the pigment is very textured and there is variation in the varnish, due to the artist's working method. There are some areas of fine craquelure. There is light scattered surface soiling. There are some small pigment losses along the join of the two canvases. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there are various areas that fluoresce darkly, which may indicate areas of minor inpainting. Unframed.
