Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and is slack. The stretcher is visible in the front of the painting on all sides. There is minor pigment loss on all four outer corner edges. There is light surface soiling and scattered pin-point pigment losses throughout. Inscription and signature on reverse has been smudged but is still highly legible. This work has not been examined under Ultraviolet light. Unframed.
