Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. The two photographic negatives are well-preserved between two panes of glass secured by the artist's frame, which is inherently worn and oxidized. Wear to the frame is likely attributable to the artist's working method. The top negative is slightly undulating; the negatives are each hinged to the glass with two pieces of transparent tape. Under raking light there are no visible scratches on the negatives. The oil element is richly colored and without condition issues. There is some faint, scattered mold between the panes of glass.
