Condition

This work consists of two separate beams, one balanced atop the other. Overall the work is in very good condition and the elements of the beams are intact. Each beam has oxidized naturally, and while there are some minor scattered scuffs and scratches to the sculpture's surface, the work retains the roughly-hewn and industrial aesthetic intended by the artist. There are a few scattered accretions throughout, and the base of one beam shows a 1-inch scratch. On the same beam there is a natural variation in color. A few oxidized fingerprints are visible, probably from early handling of the work.
