Overall in very good original condition. There is no evidence of restoration undertaken on the sculpture. The surface with some minor irregularities inherent in the making, including suspended air bubbles and particles. These are all minute, only visible on very close inspection, and do not impact the visual presentation of the form. The pontil is slightly rough to the touch, also inherent in the making. There is so very subtle deposits of the reflective pigments to the interior used to create the surface treatment to the portion of the body opposite the pontil. This is inherent and a result of the execution of the work and not a result of condition. This presents with a very subtle change in depth of the pigment and is only visible on very close inspection. With a few minute shallow surfaces scratches to the body of the sculpture. The color in the catalogue presentation is accurate and the work presents with a more vivid and dynamic color and form when viewed in person.
