Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Upon close inspection, there are isolated hairline cracks in the impasto paint in a few places and losses to a small number of the impasto peaks. There are two points where the impasto paint touches the plexi leaving specks of paint residue; to the centre of the lower right and centre of the lower left quadrants. A few specks of media have accumulated at the bottom of the frame. All surface irregularities and original and inherent to the artist's choice of medium and working process. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
