Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly warmer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. On close inspection and in raking light, canvas draw is visible in the top and lower left corners. There are a small number of shallow indentations to the canvas in the top left quadrant and a faint stretcher mark along the top left side edge. The extreme edges of the work appear unvarnished, original to the work's execution. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
