Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly warmer in the original. The illustration fails to fully convey the collaged elements, apparent in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Consistent with a work of this age, there is cracking to the pigment in places, notably to the top left corner, along the left extreme edge, to the top extreme edge and along the edges of the top left oval. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals a spot towards the centre of the left edge that fluoresces white.
