Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original. The bright green hues are more consistent in the original and the orange in the lower left corner tends more towards coral in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Upon very close inspection there is light canvas draw in the lower right hand corner. A few hairline cracks are visible; one towards the top left hand corner on the left extreme edge, one to the lower centre of the top left quadrant and a few further vertical cracks along the right extreme edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
