Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original, with the oranges tending more towards a rich red.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Upon close inspection, there is light craquelure in places throughout the brown pigment in the top half of the composition. There is a fine vertical media accretion towards the centre of the top right hand quadrant. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
