The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is warmer and richer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in good condition. The work is comprised of two sheets now laid down on canvas. There are spots of discolouration to the sheets in all four corners and to the centre of the vertical edges from where the work has previously been hinged. All four edges are deckled. There is wear to all four corners and along all four extreme edges. There is light inconsistent time staining throughout. Upon close inspection, there is a very small spot of skinning to the centre of the two sheets in the lower half of the composition.
