of rectangular form, the table top inlaid with pieces of iridescent mother-of-pearl with Shoulao seated on a mat beneath a pine tree holding a ruyi, surrounded by the Eight Immortals holding their attributes, Liu Hai and his three-legged toad, a deer, a crane and three servants, the garden with a small peach tree growing on the side, all within a thick beaded frame, the waist inlaid with a frieze of continuous foliate scroll, above a cloud-shaped apron with a composite floral scroll containing lotus and chrysanthemum, the six scalloped and tapered feet fitted to a stretcher decorated with florets and dots

Condition

The overall condition is quite good. There are some expected losses to the mother-of-pearl inlay. The table has been restuck to the stretcher with a few stabilised cracks to the legs. The corners have minor losses.
