Condition
The panel is flat and even. Apart from some minimal retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably a tiny spot in the sky in the upper right quadrant and a few scattered spots in the shore in the lower left corner, overall this work is in very good original condition, and is ready to hang.
The colours are slightly less orange, brighter, richer and more contrasted, in reality than in the catalogue illustration.
Held in a decorative gilt frame with foliate motifs.
