STRUCTURE
The canvas appears to be original. There are a few faint signs of craquelure - one to her chest, her right arm and in the background of the chair near the centre; otherwise the work appears in good overall condition.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
Under UV light there appear to be flecks of retouchings to her head and arms; an area above her right thigh; to the right of her chest and to her feet; these appear to be cosmetic and have been well executed.
FRAME
Held under glass in a gilt plaster frame; unexamined out of frame.
