STRUCTURE
The canvas is laid onto artist's prepared board. It has been split in two and a vertical strip of the backboard is visible between them, integral to the work. There is a very minor spot of varnish near the upper left edge, otherwise the work appears in excellent overall condition with a rich textured surface.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
Under UV light some areas flouresce but these appear to be the hand of the artist rather than retouchings.
FRAME
Held in a simple white painted, wooden frame.
