STRUCTURE
Original canvas. There is a faint craquelure pattern in some areas of the canvas but located mainly to the donkey in lower left corner, only visible upon close inspection; otherwise the work appears in good overall condition.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
UV light reveals no apparent signs of retouching.

Held in an attractive gilt plaster frame.
