Condition

STRUCTURE The canvas has been relined, otherwise it appears in excellent overall condition, clean and ready to hang. ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT UV light reveals scattered areas of retouching across the sky and localised areas in the foreground, these appear to be cosmetic and have been well executed. The signature may have been strengthened. FRAME Held in a gilt plaster frame.
