Condition
The canvas has been relined.
There is extensive craquelure throughout the sky which is stable. Otherwise the paint surface is in good, clean condition; ready to hang.
Ultraviolet light reveals traces of retouching to the sky however a recent varnish prevents a conclusive reading.
Held in a plaster gilt frame in fair condition.
