Condition

STRUCTURE Both canvas are relined. 'XV Kings Hussars - A Rest on the March' has a faint craquelure pattern across the surface. Both works have discoloured retouchings in the sky; otherwise they appear in good overall condition. ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT UV light reveals flecked retouchings among the horses and the embankment and through the sky of 'XV Kings Hussars - A Rest on the March'. The other bears retouchings only in the sky. FRAME Held in matching moulded gilt frames.
