Condition
The canvas has been relined.
There are traces of craquelure throughout the paint surface and traces of surface dirt.
Ultraviolet light reveals infilling to carquelure in the sky and some scattered patches of retouching. Some further areas of retouching to the sea.
Held in a gilt frame in fair condition.
