STRUCTURE
Both canvases are relined. There very faint, localised areas of craquelure in the sky of both pictures, only visible upon close inspection; otherwise the works appear in good overall condition.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
UV light reveals sweeping areas of retouching to the sky of both works, and flecked retouchings in the sea of 'The Royal Yacht Squadron Schooner Viking off the Needles'.
