Catalogue Note

Limited edition, number 175 of 200 copies signed by Genthe. The photographer concentrates on the architectural details of New Orleans French Quarter, with some candid street portraiture (as in his famous Pictures of Old Chinatown) added to the depiction of grand decay.  A generally lovely, unworn copy of a notoriously fragile book in this deluxe edition.
