An eclectic group of erotic art from the 18th to the 20th century. Includes:



[Rops, Felicien]. Engraving of a hurried congress (7 ½ x 4 ¾ ins; 190 x 120 mm). on large folio sheet, inititaled "FR" in red pencil; browned. — Two 18th century Chinese paintings on silk — Series of 5 late 18th c. French  watercolors of Bacchanalian orgy (7 x 8 ½ ins; 180 x 220 mm). — 2 late 18th century mezzotints of pleasures in the drawing room and over the butter churn (15 ½ x 11 ins; 390 x 280 mm). Mounted on card. — Series of  5 French pencil and watercolor drawings of couples, ca. 1920. (14 x 11 ins; 355 x 280 mm). — One 19th century Japanese woodblock — Series of 3 accomplished French signed engravings, dated 1922 (15 ½ x 11 ins; 390 x 280 mm). — [Jugendstil Bookplates]. Approximately 100 erotic engraved bookplates of high Edwardian style, many apparently in proof state, the majority after the same, unidentified artist. — Collection of 27 often humorous though relatively explicit original erotic drawings in pencil by an unidentified artist, most approximately 8 x 10 in., mounted on card. Likely Paris ca. 1926. Housed in red cloth clamshell with "27 Dessins Erotiques Originaux" spine label.
