  • Earthenware
of deep round form with a slightly everted rim, on a short foot, painted in black slip and yellow and green under a transparent glaze, featuring a figure running with a dagger in one hand and shield in the other, the exterior with alternating green and yellow stylised palms

In good condition, area of cavetto with shield restored, some restoration and overpainting also to another smaller section of cavetto, minor chips on rim, as viewed.
