Description

  • stone
the base of rectangular form with a bulbous upper section, the base carved on each face with a six-pointed star within arched panels, the bulbous head carved with a Kufic inscription interrupted by floral medallions, the interior partly hollowed out and open at one side, traces of red pigment

Condition

In fairly good condition, traces of red pigment on decoration, including stars and rosettes, some breaks (cracks) to external edges and weathering on surface consistent with age, as viewed.
