Arabic manuscript on paper, 294 leaves plus 4 flyleaves, 15 lines to the page, written in Naskh script in black ink, verses separated by plain gold dots, catchwords, illuminated marginal floral motifs emanating blue sprays, surah headings written in white Thuluth script against plain gold panels, opening illuminated double page frontispiece comprising polychrome flowers against blue and gold grounds, with large leafy flowers in gold, final double page and colophon with ensuite decoration, morocco binding with trellis motif design and punched ground, with flap

In very good overall condition, illumination bright and ink bold, a few paper repairs to final folio, as viewed.
