A hand written inscription notes that the manuscript belonged to 'Ali Fuad, son of Grand Vizier Mehmet Emin 'Ali Pasha (1814-71).

Catalogue Note
The calligrapher Ibrahim Ibn Mustafa (d.1733) was a student of Hafiz Osman and became the Imam at the Great Mosque in Bursa, the city of his birth. The present work groups together the texts on the life of the Prophet by the two renowned Ottoman authors Veysi (1561-1628) and Nabi (1642-1712).
