Arabic manucript on paper, 39 leaves plus 4 flyleaves, 7 lines to the page, written in Maghribi script in black ink, diacritics in blue and red, verses separated by clusters of 3 gold dots pointed in blue, further marginal illuminations, 2 surah headings in gold Kufic script, the first with a large scrolling medallion extending into the margin, modern binding with marbled doublures and boards, 18th century bookplate on inside cover

Gifted by 'Mr Fayolle', Directeur des Postes, to Medical Doctor Salètes, Ancient Medecin Chef de L'hopital Militaire d'Instruction du Val de Grace et Sous Directeur d'Ecole d'application au service de Santé Militaire, Batna, Algeria, 1905.

Condition

In generally good overall condition, some old paper repairs and a few stains, ink bold, as viewed.
